Ok,  by now everyone is well aware of that fact that many users who RECed articles not written by the "Permanent REC listers"  all of a sudden found themselves to still have "trusted user" status but could not REC any diaries.

Please use this diary to state your case and be counted.

I am curious to know now, and for historical reflection how many members certain "people" thought it would take to weaken discourse on this site.

Also I must ask the person who cannot be named out of fear,  if you wanted to protect the REC list so bad, why not make those people front page writers and leave the personal diaries to be free.

I must say the oppression followed by silence is not part of the value system we are fighting for this fall.

This is huge. Russert says definitively, "We now know who the Democratic candidate is going to be." He also reveals Clinton has canceled all morning interviews and campaign appearances tomorrow.

Wow. Everyone should see this video. It's over. There should be no opportunity given to Clinton to pull a Lieberman now. This wisdom from Russert should be the conventional wisdom. If you agree, please recommend.

Its like watching a car crash, then seeing the survivors get out of the car only to be run over by a semi truck.

Since everyone here claims they hate MSNBC, please take a look at what Dan Abrams has done. He was the only MSM (along with KO, OBVIOUSLY) to take on the Don Sieglman scandal. You got to give the Dan/Keith block credit for taking on issues which our candidates are both too afraid to take on. These republicans have bled us dry of constitutional rights and treasure. And their are people that can't see past their petty political preferences to see the storm of death and disaster that awaits us if we let the republicans push us around another 8 years. I am sick to death of the fools I hear on this board, people callous enough to even bash Rachel Maddow!!! I think alot of people here would be happier if 2003-2005 was a VHS tape we just relooped. Shame on those who miss the days of being on the helpless end of Karl Rove bayonet........
